You are in control of your BreakDawn data and can remove it at any time. This page explains the two options, what gets deleted, what little we must keep, and how to request deletion if you can't use the app.
Erase my data (keep account): removes your recovery data from our servers but keeps your account so you can start fresh.
Delete my account: permanently deletes your account and associated data.
You can also export your data first from the same area if you'd like a copy before deleting.
If you can't access the app, email team@breakdawn.io from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request, and we aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.
Deleting your account removes the data we hold for you on our servers, including your account record, sobriety date and recovery progress, mood and craving logs and notes, your chat history with Ikki, your Circle contacts and messages, saved venues, and your app settings.
After deletion we remove your data from our active systems, with limited exceptions required for legal, accounting, or security reasons:
See the Privacy Policy for full detail on retention and your rights.
